Kills fleas on contact, all natural non-toxic safe for dogs - I got this all natural non-toxic essential oil-based spray for keeping fleas off of my nine dogs.

Sprays like this can be very effective when you use a multi-pronged approach.

In this spray, the primary essential oil is Cedarwood with lemongrass added. Cedarwood is one of the most effective essential oils at killing and repelling fleas.
And at the concentrations in this you can safely spray it directly on your dog and their bedding.

If you have an active infestation on your dog, the best way to knock that down is by giving them a simple bath with Dawn dish soap or some other non-toxic but High foaming sudsing shampoo. The regular blue formulation , original formulation Dawn dish detergent works extremely fast at suffocating the fleas and washing off all of the eggs with a good rinse.

Then you can use this spray to keep the fleas from jumping on them again.

For ticks, I find the most effective thing is just add apple cider vinegar to their raw food meals. After a couple weeks of dosing their food with apple cider vinegar ( don't add it to their water unless you have a second bowl of fresh, clean water so they can always choose which one they want) ... the ticks no longer jump onto them at all.

For adding something to their food that is extremely effective for keeping fleas off, because it makes their blood taste terrible so fleas, add pure garlic powder (no salt added) to their meals.

The dogs love it and after about a week and a half to two weeks, the fleas will stop jumping on them to feed because they don't taste good anymore.

You'll find a lot of references that say that garlic is toxic to dogs but in fact it is not unless you feed them extremely high doses which is unreasonable. The research that was done on it was flawed because of the extreme amounts of garlic used in that study. Extremely high amounts of any substance would become harmful to humans or animals.

But for knocking down an active infestation , shampooing and this all natural essential oil based flea killing spray will work great.

Oh, and the reason for the soap (sodium lauryl sulfate) that is included in this spray is so that it clings to the pets fur and the essential oils last longer for a longer flea- killing and repelling effect.

This is a good choice for an all natural flea repellent that you can also use on yourself. The Cedarwood and lemongrass will be effective for repelling mosquitoes. Spraying this on your front legs before you go out hiking will also prevent ticks and chiggers from jumping on you. So there are many applications for this spray and you get a very good size 16 ounce bottle that lasts the very long time with the small amount that you need to apply to your pet's fur. Highly recommended as a versatile multi-purpose insect and pest spray!

Love this spray. I generally use it at my open windows to deter little gnats and such. I've used it on the horses and they seem better about it than with the designated "horse bug spray." Also....my mother came to visit and walked in my room like, "oooh, what's that smell? I like it." I had to think for a bit because I don't do candles or perfume, but yes, this has a strong smell! Pleasant tho, clearly. Natural.
Also in the video, I'm not squeezing fully so it might seem weak but it sprays nice, albeit having a few bigger droplets each time. Could just be my bottle. Worth the price? Ehh, its tough (for me) to rationalize it, but for amount, effectiveness, scent, health, sure.

No Fleas On Me! I've been spraying this on my feet and ankles and shoes when camping. There are actually a lot of chicken fleas and bird mites around here. I have sprayed this on my pillow and what was really great idea was on my backpack too and it has kept the cockroaches and ants off my backpack. I once got it on my face when spraying because I had the sprayer pointing the wrong way and it did not burn my eyes or make my sensitive skin face break out. The smell is pleasant and more of a clove smell. Not minty smelling or lavender or any of the usual smells. A bit more natural medicine smell like cloves. I wouldn't say it would be a smell I would wear into the office as perfume someday, but it works as a repellant for insects. I have not seen any on my shoes. Bottle did not leak in shipping. Bottle did not leak when held upright in side mesh pocket of my backpack next to my water bottle either. Responsive spray pump that worked every time i pressed down, giving an easy, light mist. Set of 2 bottles. Generous size. Not TSA carry on sized, as it is 4 ounces so you'd have to put it in your checked baggage.

Our tick issue has been increasing in recent years, and we focus on multiple, natural ways to combat them here on our organic farm. I got this spray mostly for human use, planning to spray it on our boots and socks, particularly when moving through talk grass. From my own research, this is likely to be ok to use on our dog as well. But findings differ on the use of these oils on cats, particularly the rosemary. The vet written article I read said if you're going to try it, only use it at 1% ratio and this spray is 1.5%. For me, because I already have a cat with allergies and asthma, I'm not risking this. Be sure to be careful when using essential oils on animals. The labels on these are miniscule by the way, pretty impossible to read. I do like that this is made in the US. The spray comes out of the bottles in a nice mist and has a strong, not unpleasant smell. So far it seems to be working for us.
