Smells great!

With two Yellow Labs—one 10 and one 5—I’m always on the lookout for reliable flea and tick protection. I haven’t had the chance to use Trail Guard yet since it’s the middle of winter, but I’m really looking forward to trying it this spring. One thing I immediately noticed is how great it smells—the cedarwood and rosemary scent is fresh and natural without being overpowering. It’s nice to find a product that doesn’t have that strong chemical odor. I’m hopeful it will work just as well as it smells once we’re back to spending more time outdoors.

It protected the dogs on our walks in the woods.

The smell wasn't overwhelming.

This is very, very strong stuff. Its fortunate that I like peppermint or it would be overwhelming. It does work very well though, as a thick layer is keeping both ants and mosquitoes at bay. Its not perfect, as it doesnt eliminate ant activity entirely, but it has reduced it drastically. Definitely a good buy!

Camp in the upper Pennisula in Michigan is very buggy in July. Mosquitos, deer flies, black flies, and ticks are horrible. However, this year for the first time we had Trail Guard Max and it works! As long as we sprayed it on they stayed away, go out without it and the biting and buzzing never stopped. Our two dogs were happy campers as long as they got sprayed also so the bugs stayed off. And it smells good! My husband said buy 1 bottle and I bought three, he was glad I did as we almost went through 1 bottle between the two of us and the dogs. Won't be going to the UP without this stuff ever again! Thank you!

Safe for dogs!

I absolutely love that this product is safe for my dogs and natural. The smell of the product is pleasant too and not harsh. It doesn’t leave that nasty sticky feeling and that was really important to me.

Easy to use

Smell not overpowering and spray was effective

This insect and pest control spray has been a game changer in my home. The peppermint scent is refreshing compared to the harsh chemical smell most sprays have, and it works surprisingly well at keeping spiders, ants, and other bugs away. I’ve used it indoors around windows, corners, behind furniture. It also doesn’t stain.

The spray nozzle works smoothly, and the coverage is excellent. You can screw it tight to get a stream and unscrew to get a mist type of spray.

Smells lovely!

The scent is really lovely, minty and strong I think it helps keep mosquitoes and other flying pests away during dog walks. We do use a flea collar and regular bathing as well but this spray is a great addition.

Smells much better than the chemical ridden option

This stuff smells more like fancy lotion than the other brands which are pumped full of chemicals. I am not sure I would trust it in densely buggy areas but for casual use, it's a winner

Replacement for a discontinued product

I’ve used a peppermint-scented repellent spray from a different brand in past and the ingredients on this looked the closest fit. I can’t speak to “flea” or “dog” related claims, but spritzing the exterior door and window thresholds is a refreshing way to keep household pests like ants at bay.

Great product, second time ordering it.

I prefer natural ingredients over heavy chemicals any chance I get. Not that this is 100% organic, but a little natural is better than nothing.

So far, I’m impressed with how well this works. I hit some of the areas on my patio that I’ve had problems with ants, and I have yet to see them return. I also preemptively sprayed this underneath some of the hidden areas on my patio, where other pests have put nest in the fall. I’m hoping this helps to keep them out as well.

I will warn you, the scent of this is very strong. I know it says for indoor use, but I’m not sure I would want this in my house. With that said, if you like peppermint, it does have a pleasant smell.

First time trying it and happy with the results it really repels fleas . I like the smell ( my dogs don’t) be as long as it effective I will keep using it .
